As denúncias de maus tratos animais aumentaram em cerca de cinco registros a mais por dia, desde o início da pandemia no estado. Segundo a delegada responsável pela Delegacia Especializada em Repressão a Crimes Contra o Meio Ambiente (DERCCMA), Janaína Xander Wessel, o total de 170 denúncias somente este ano.
“Temos recebido aproximadamente 30 denúncias por mês, quando antes a média era de cerca de 25. Isso porque as pessoas estão mais em casa e percebido melhor o que acontece ao seu redor, na vizinhança”, explica a delegada.
Janaína conta que a delegacia está se reestruturando e criou o Núcleo de Proteção aos Animais, começando com a elaboração de protocolos para atendimento de denúncias de maus tratos. Isso serve de parâmetro para o atendimento, com o registro de ocorrência – até mesmo para obter dados estatísticos.
“É designada a visita ao local – que é feita pelo Serviço de Investigação e Captura (Sevic), para responder a vários quesitos com relação à alimentação, existência de água e abrigo de sol e chuva, se o animal está vacinado, se está preso em corrente, se ele é usado para reprodução, para rinhas, para trabalhos, enfim. São esses vários quesitos que serão averiguados pelos nossos policiais, para saber se a denúncia é óbvia ou infundada”, completa.
Na dúvida com relação à existência ou não de maus tratos, a delegada diz que é solicitada a vistoria da Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente (Sema). “Em tese, para os maus tratos ‘clássicos’, aqueles que são visíveis, nós já tomamos a providência de imediato, o que pode ser a elaboração de termo circunstanciado (para crimes de menor potencial ofensivo), e até a retirada do animal em casos extremos e quando temos o local onde deixar o animal”.
A delegada explica ainda que a delegacia também orienta em situações limítrofes com relação aos maus tratos. “Neste caso é quando a situação não chega a ser considerada maus tratos, mas falta o cuidado adequado, e em data posterior fazemos uma nova vista em momento oportuno para verificar se as adequações foram tomadas ou não”.
As denúncias anônimas podem ser feitas pelo telefone 197, ou ainda pelo telefones fixos (69) 3229-5395 e 3226-1188. O número de contato pelo WhatsApp é (69) 98418-7820, por onde os denunciantes podem também enviar fotos e vídeos dos casos. O e-mail disponível é o [email protected].
